The 2015 Underground Music Showcase presented by Schomp MINI is coming up next month on July 23-26. Over 400 bands will perform at 20 venues throughout the four-day Showcase, with most of the bands being from right here in Colorado.

Last year, Schomp MINI launched a contest where one lucky band took home the honor of winning. We’re back at it again and we’re looking to crown the Schomp MINI Band of the Summer. Whether you’re in a local band or you have a favorite, we’re looking for nominees from today until July 28th. A few nominees from last year included In the Whale, South of France and Ian Cooke. The winner was local musician, Magic Cyclops with his “air guitar, comedy, electronic, new age and new wave” genre of music. Who will take it home this year?

ONE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BY SCHOMP AUTOMOTIVE FROM THE TOP 3 BANDS WITH THE MOST VOTES. Contest starts June 24 and ends July 28. Claiming of prize requires a response to Schomp AUTOMOTIVE by emailing Social@schomp.com within 7 days of being notified. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. Winner must be a scheduled performer at the 2015 Underground Music Showcase and must provide information about how the band intends to use the prize money. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred. Winner will be required to provide a W9 to redeem cash prize. Upon proper verification, cash winnings will be awarded by check within seven (7) business days. Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. Management, employees, and families of Schomp Automotive as well as previous contest winners are prohibited from winning the prize awarded by Schomp Automotive.
