The team at Schomp Mini is gearing up for a big party at the Schomp Annual Sale, July 20-25 on our Highlands Ranch campus. This family-friendly community celebration marks 36 years of support for Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center.
The Schomp Annual Sale takes place on our Highlands Ranch Campus from July 20th to 25th. This year’s sale – the 36th! – will kick off with a spectacular Drone Show on Sunday night, July 19th at 9 p.m., also at our Plum Valley Lane location. Everything is free and open to the public.
The Party and Why We Have It
The community is invited to join us for food trucks, ice cream trucks, bubble machines, kids’ coloring stations and more. During the Schomp Annual Sale, every time we sell a new MINI or pre-owned vehicle, our parent company, Schomp Automotive Group, will set aside a portion of the profit to donate to Children’s Hospital Colorado. Over the years, we’ve contributed almost $700,000 in support of the hospital’s Burn Center. We continued the support even during a hiatus from 2019-2023.

- The big Drone Show is the kick-off event the evening of July 19th. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and watch 300 drones zoom through the sky for a spectacular light show featuring animations and aerial magic.
Julian – the Children’s Hospital Colorado Ambassador – Is the Face of Our Sale
As a toddler, Julian helped his mom in the kitchen. But she looked away for just a moment and Julian’s life was changed forever. He grabbed for the spoon in a pot of boiling noodles and the water poured down his arm, resulting in a severe burn. Julian was rushed to the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center where he got expert care. Treated and bandaged, Julian underwent skin graft surgery three weeks later.
When he was a bit older, Julian attended Burn Camp, where he and his family built a wonderful support network with others who had experienced similar trauma. As a teen, he’s been a robotics whiz kid, and even now, as he’s almost an adult, Julian continues to work on behalf of Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center.
