HOW YOUR MINI KNOWS IT NEEDS SERVICE?
2017 AND EARLIER MINI MODELS
Earlier MINI models use Condition Based Service (CBS) technology to monitor key maintenance items such as oil changes, brake wear, and vehicle inspections. Your MINI analyzes mileage and driving conditions to determine when service is needed. When maintenance is due, reminders appear in the instrument cluster or infotainment display, letting you know it's time to schedule service.
2018 AND NEWER MINI MODELS
2018 and newer MINI models equipped with ConnectedDrive Services offer enhanced service connectivity in addition to Condition Based Service monitoring. Your MINI can notify you of maintenance needs through the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and the MINI App. Compatible vehicles can also provide vehicle status information, service reminders, and convenient scheduling with your preferred MINI dealership.

Warranty repairs do not extend the original limited warranty period for the vehicle or any part thereof. Service availability and pricing may vary based on vehicle model and optional equipment.
MINI Maintenance Oil Services is transferable to subsequent owners and lessees when sold or leased through an authorized MINI Dealer. Eligible vehicles must be enrolled before reaching 60 months or 60,000 miles. Program availability, eligibility, and pricing are subject to change. MINI Oil Change Plan (3 Years) includes oil and oil filter changes for three years, including labor, for $249, plus applicable taxes and disposal fees where applicable. A maximum of two oil changes per contract year is included. Covered services are performed as indicated by your vehicle's Condition Based Service (CBS) system. For vehicles not equipped with CBS, oil changes are performed according to the maintenance schedule in your MINI Maintenance Booklet.
The MINI Oil Change Plan is available for eligible MINI vehicles that have reached 60 months or 60,000 miles, but have not exceeded 240 months (20 years) and are not currently covered by a MINI maintenance program. The plan may also be purchased for eligible vehicles that have reached 54 months and remain covered by the factory scheduled maintenance program. Please contact your authorized MINI Dealer for eligibility details.
